-
Lithium batteries should not be used in high-current devices such as flash units. If used, the batteries may overheat, the outer skin may peel off, and the batteries will not function properly.
-
When the battery is connected to a charging cable, ensure the positive and negative terminals do not touch, whether charging has started or not.
-
It is recommended to use the charging cable that came with the device and connect it to a 2A output Power Supply Unit (PSU) for optimal charging.
-
Insert the batteries into the device in the correct orientation as indicated. Do not reverse the orientation.
-
Do not mix different brands or types of batteries in the same device.
-
Do not mix charged and uncharged batteries in the same device.
-
Do not use the battery while it is charging.
-
Fully charge the batteries before use, as they are shipped at only 30% charge for safety.
-
Do not leave batteries unattended while charging. Do not charge them under your pillow, on your bed, or on any flammable surface.
-
Do not touch the positive terminal of the battery during charging to avoid burns. The positive terminal can reach up to 65°C due to the fast charging speed of lithium batteries.
-
Store batteries at room temperature in a cool, dry place, away from anything flammable. Do not place batteries in direct sunlight or hot vehicles.
-
For batteries stored or unused for a long period, it is recommended to charge them every 6 months.
-
Keep batteries away from fire and water. Do not expose them to water, fire, or temperatures above 45°C (113°F).
-
Do not damage, open, puncture, or disassemble the battery casing.
-
Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets.
-
Do not short-circuit the battery by connecting a wire or metal object directly to the positive/negative terminals.
-
Do not place batteries in a microwave, oven, induction stove, or hob.
-
Do not keep batteries in a pocket, purse, or any container with metal objects to avoid short-circuiting or incineration.
-
The battery assembly contains safety and protection circuits that should not be altered. If these circuits are damaged or removed, the battery may overheat or catch fire.
-
If the battery emits a strange smell, gets hot, changes color or shape, or appears abnormal, stop using it immediately and contact SZEMPTY for support.
-
If the battery leaks, avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
-
Do not use the battery if the outer wrapper is damaged. Do not disassemble it.
-
If the battery light flashes too quickly, replace the charging cable or charger. If it continues to flash quickly, do not use it and contact SZEMPTY for support.
-
Follow local regulations for recycling electronic devices and batteries.
By following these guidelines, you ensure safe and optimal use of your SZEMPTY USB rechargeable batteries.
